Amphibious. The tsathar scourge can breathe both air and water.
Slippery. The tsathar scourge has advantage on ability checks and saving throws made to escape a grapple.
Speak with Amphibians. The tsathar scourge can communicate with frogs and toads as if they shared a language.
Standing Leap. The tsathar scourge's long jump is up to 30 feet and its high jump is up to 15 feet, with or without a running start.
Multiattack. The tsathar scourge makes three attacks: one with its bite and two with its claws or spear.
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 5 (1d4 + 3) piercing damage plus 10 (3d6) poison damage.
Claw. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 7 (1d8 + 3) slashing damage.
Spear. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20 ft./60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage, or 7 (1d8 + 3) piercing damage if used with two hands to make a melee attack.
Implant Egg. The tsathar scourge can use this only against a creature reduced to 0 hit points that isn't dead. The tsathar makes a small incision in the target and implants an egg. The implanted egg matures for 2 weeks before hatching. In the 24 hours before the egg hatches, the host becomes violently ill: its speed is halved, and it has disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws. When the egg hatches, an immature tsathar tadpole bursts from the host's chest, immediately killing the host.
A lesser restoration or similar magic kills the egg if used before it hatches.
A tsathar scourge is a slightly bulkier tsathar weighing about 350 pounds. Tsathar scourges hold a special place of honor in tsathar society. They serve as breeders of the giant frogs which commonly accompany them as pets and guardians, and by extension scourges oversee the breeding of the tsathar themselves. They wear a badge of station that indicates their control over the various beasts. All frogs bred by the tsathar obey scourges.
It is rumored tsathar scourges are created when a tsathar consumes the implanted egg of one destined to become a tsathar priest.
